Samy Deluxe - Positiv : ein Lied das ich wirklich mag/ a song I really like and explanation for those who don't speak German;)
Breaking Benjamin: sehr sehr gute Band. Das Album "Phobia" war sooo gut. Hier sind drei Lieder: Until the end, You und The Diary of Jane (dieses Lied war die erste Single von Phobia). Angst, Leiden, Gefühle, sehr kraftvoll, und geile Musik (viele heavy Gitarren, Richtung Hard Rock/ Alternative Metal). Hört mal an!

Well, cool song but not very original video!... Just like Tokio Hotel's video "Schrei"/ "Scream" which was already inspired from "Whiskey in a Jar" by Metallica (clic on the links to get the vids). It's clear that Metro Station is tapping in the same fan-base than Tokio Hotel, but my God! differenciate yourself! No one can be Tokio Hotel!

Heute Women Power! Ich teile meine Gedanken und Meinung über Frauen, Macht und Weiblichkeit: Wieso sehen Frauen in Politik so schrecklich aus? Wieso die Gesellschaft - insbesondere die Männer - so viele Schwierigkeiten hat, mit der Weiblichkeit und Sexiness der Frauen umzugehen? Wieso Power und Weiblichkeit sind so oft als Widersprüche betrachtet? Wieso sollten die Frauen sich wegen ihres Körpers und Sex-Appeal schämen? Wenn ihr schon alle Antworte haben, dann braucht ihr nicht weiter zu lesen!

I'm updating this homepage very thematically. Not that it's on purpose, it just the way it is for now! Well, today, I wanted to talk about the most creative designer on earth, the most unique, wimsical, inimitable, you knwo who I am talking about, right? : Betsey Johson. I got the incredible chance to work for her in New York City as an intern in the wholesale department. She's an incredible woman and her style is just crazily fantastic. You can hate her or adore her, but she won't live you cold. I added my "insider's comments" to an article on her from Vogue ("a day in the life of Besey Johnson"). And if you are interested in knowing how it is to be an intern for a famous designer in the Big Apple just clic on the PDF-file! (in meine Lebenslauf/Betsey Johnson). For today, I leave the last word to Betsey: "Making clothes involves what I like... color, pattern, shape and movement... I like the everyday process... the people, the pressure, the surprise of seeing the work come alive walking and dancing around on strangers. Like red lipstick on the mouth, my products wake up and brighten and bring the wearer to life...drawing attention to her beauty and specialness... her moods and movements... her dreams and fantasies".

Musik und Stil, Stil und Musik, es hängt zusammen. Fashion, music, lifestyle, philosophy: everything is interconnected. Heute geht es um Rebel Style, Hardcore Subkulture und Rock-Videos. Endeckt das tolle Buch "Rebel, Rebel Anti-Style" von dem UK-Designer Keanan Duffty: alles was ihr immer über den Rebel-Stil wissen wollen. Noch mehr rebel: "Straight edge: clean-living youth, hardcore punk,and social change". Keine Ahnung was "straight edge" bedeutet? Da erfahrt ihr gleich hier! Und weil das Leben braucht immer ein Soudtrack, gibt es die passenden Videos von Green Day und The Virgins. Let's rock!
